Movement time

To avoid ingress of warm air (and loss of cold air) it is useful to have an airlock. However, these need to be at least the length of a loaded fork-lift truck, and the extra space required, together with the double doors and extra movement time, should be investigated closely before such an arrangement is put into use.

The studies on subjective sleep complaints in patients with panic disorder have not obtained consistent results. One study showed that 68% of patients with panic disorder reported moderately to severely impaired sleep, compared to only 15% of healthy controls, and 26% of panic disorder patients complained of frequent awakenings, compared to none in healthy controls [14], Another study, however, did not find significantly higher rate of sleep complaints in patients with panic disorder than in normal controls [15]. The findings on PSG sleep in patients with panic disorder are also not consistent across studies. If indices of brain function are associated with prevailing levels of psychometric intelligence one might expect them to become impaired when mental test scores are affected by prevailing blood glucose levels. An issue met in viewing error scores from the perspective of Kondraske s [ Kondraske, 1995a,b] elemental resource model is the unifying requirement of its associated general systems performance theory (GSPT) that all dimensions of performance must be in a form for which a higher numerical value indicates a superior performance. Thus scores which state that a smaller score indicates a superior performance, including reaction times, movement times, and all error scores, need to be transformed into performance scores [Kondraske, 1988]. The first involves breaking the ballistic response in step tracking into reaction time, movement time, overshoot, and settling time [Flowers, 1976 Evarts et al., 1981 Jones and Donaldson, 1986 Behbehani et al., 1988 Kondraske et al., 1988] (see Time domain (baUistic) analysis below). One major cause of adhesive tape failure is the gradual disentanglement of the adhesive polymer system under slight but prolonged shear stress. While the standard shear stress test under static load (see Section II.B) is the accepted test method to evaluate this, the nature of the results, which could be in tape movement, time to fall, or no movement whatsoever, make it difficult to compare one adhesive with another.

Stimulus cards were made by sticking 4 cm squares of thin coloured washable plastic material onto blank playing cards. Standard packs of 24 cards were made up for Ae four experimental conAtions employed A, B, C and D. In conAtion A a pack of cards was made up of cards of two colours, 12 of each. The time required to sort a pack of cards is made up of two components decision time, the time required to identify the appropriate colour and determine where it should be placed, and movement time, the time required to make the necessary turning and delivery...
