Monthly News Bulletin

Technical News Bulletin summarizes and reports the more important bureau research results. In addition, each issue lists the articles by NBS staff published during the previous month, and four times a year patents granted on NBS inventions are listed. The price of the Technical News Bulletin is 1.50 per year (75 cents additional for foreign mailing) or 15 cents per single copy. The bureau also has several nonperiodical series which are used to disseminate results of investigations. 

Official returns of imports and exports are available annually (69) and monthly 70). Current news on commercial and related matters, and on industrial developments may be obtained from a weekly news bulletin printed in English 72). There is a monthly chemical j ournal, Ion 71).

In addition to the technical reports, general publications are issued by the Public Relations Branch in London. These include the monthly bulletin Atom which gives official news booklets Information Papers giving the text of selected speeches, and articles, films, photographs and slides. The AERE at Harwell issues a weekly Information Bulletin containing titles of selected articles from journals received in the library and a monthly accessions list Recent Additions to the Library. Similar publications are also issued jointly by the DEG and PG at Risley.
