Thus, this chapter has attempted to provide a critical review of the current work done with MOEAs in chemical engineering, from a MOEA researchers perspective. The intention, however, was not to minimize or disregard the important work already done. Instead, the aim was to bring practitioners closer to the MOEA community so that both can interact and mutually benefit. If some of the ideas presented in this chapter are incorporated by chemical engineering practitioners in the years to come, we will then know that the goals of this chapter have been fulfilled.
