MOI [Mobil olefin interconversion] A process for increasing the yield of propylene from steam crackers and fluid catalytic crackers, using a ZSM-type catalyst. Developed in 1998 by Mobil Technology. 

Transplus A transalkylation process for making mixed xylenes from heavy aromatics and toluene. Developed by Mobil Technology and Chinese Petroleum Corporation. 

Solucorp Industries molecular bonding system (MBS) is a patented process that stabilizes heavy metals. The technology uses proprietary mixtures of nonhazardous chemicals to convert heavy-metal contaminants from existing reactive/leachable forms (usually oxides) into stable, insoluble, metal-sulfide compounds. The vendor states that MBS is a mobile technology that quickly treats large volumes of waste on site. 

A survey conducted by the Medical Records Institute in 2002 on health care practitioners concerns with the implementation of mobile technology devices and applications cited security/confidentiality when sending or receiving information and the lack of Health Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance as primary concerns by 50 and 34 percent of respondents, respectively. Confidentiality and security of information against unauthorized access must be HIPAA-compliant. A number of systems are available that can help a pharmacy organization to remain in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
