Medium Term Strategy

As supplies improve, the number of agricultural ingredients which may be used from non-organic sources (within the 5% tolerance permitted under the EU Regulation) is bound to reduce, perhaps eventually to zero. It would be rash to base any medium-term strategy on the continuance of the current list.

From a technical and economic viewpoint, COCONUT is still, in 1984, the only viable medium term strategy for most industrial nations.
