Materials status

These circumstances make the continued use of available chemical reference materials and the development of new reference materials essential. The National Research Council formed a committee in April 2001 to provide a comprehensive review of chemical reference material status and needs for those elements and compounds essential for investigating ocean processes. In addition, the committee was charged to provide advice on the elements and compounds requiring the development of reference materials and/or reference material improvement. Specifically, the committee was charged with the following tasks ... [Pg.17]

There are about 700 application users with an average of 300 concurrent users, and four MESs systems that exchange data with the SAP R/3. Each manufacturing site installed a different MBS system based on the topology described in the Site MES Application example above. The ERP application passes GMP relevant data (including production orders, bills of materials, materials allocation in the warehouse, materials consumption data, and materials status) back and forth with the MES systems. [Pg.878]

As LIMS typically contain both the analysis values and the associated procedures, they hold much potential for integration with other paperless enablers to provide a streamlined paperless operation. Integration with other systems may include, for example, preassignment of analysis when a new batch is started on the plant floor, material status information for MRP II or ERP systems, electronic certificates of analysis for batch documentation, raw material characteristics for dispensing operation and others. It should be noted, however, that integrating LIMS with other paperless enablers outside the laboratory environment is a complex task. [Pg.26]

Materials The entities in this partition are related to material instances such as material status, history, and genealogy data. It may also provide inventory information. We note with the tag passive instances that the entities in this partition represent physical resources that are manipulated or acted upon by active resources represented in other models. [Pg.1786]

During the process of stress wave propagation, tensile stresses or shear stresses do occur and cause rock material to fail in tension or in shear. Therefore, a modified principal stress failure criterion is applied to determining material status, which is suitable for describing material tensile failure or shear failure. The modified principal stress failure criterion dictates that when the major principal stress or the maximum shear stress in an element exceeds material tensile or shear strength, the element fails. After an element has failed, it will not be able to sustain any tensile and shear loadings, but it is still able to sustain compressive loading. The normal compressive stresses, and cr, of a failed ele-... [Pg.228]

In order to investigate some of the key aspects of fracturing in the surrounding rock during blasting, numerical simulations were carried out using the above munerical model with two excavation steps, the equation of state, the failure criterion, and the related properties. For each excavation, the simulation results of material statuses are presented. [Pg.229]

In order to investigate the fracturing process of surrounding rock under blast loading, the calculation results of material statuses as a function of time after initiation of TNT explosive are presented in Figure 2. It can be seen that an intense crashed zone is developed near the borehole. The curves of dynamic stresses (cr, cr and... [Pg.229]

In order to illustrate the fracturing mechanics during the subsequent excavation, the second excavation after the first excavation shown in Figure 2 is implemented. In mining practices, before an excavation starts, the stress waves produced in the previous excavation have completely vanished. In order to simulate the real mining operations, the second excavation starts after 10 ms of the first detonation, when the stress waves have fully dissipated. At 10 ms, the fragmented rock mass produced by the first excavation is removed and a new-formed tunnel is filled with air, then the subsequent excavation is started to execute. The calculation results of material statuses as a func-... [Pg.232]

When this regulation was first issued, shippers were uncertain if it could be applied to processed materials (e.g., tungsten or zirconium ores that had been processed for extraction of these nonfuel cycle materials). Considering the Randles model, an accurate definition of ideal charge balance is that the net current flowing into py is zero over time. If this average be zero, under the assumption that only reversible reactions are present, all the reactions are completely reversed and the electrode material status remains unchanged. This condition is not achieved completely by biphasic symmetrical current pulses into the electrode. [Pg.19]

In addition to above information on stock of specific raw material, status of indents etc. was also provided to the engineers on request (refer to Fig.4). [Pg.20]
