Manufacturing engineers wishing to use ECM processes in industry need to address the challenge of proper tool design. The cost of design can be as much as 20% of the cost of an electrochemical machine for complex components. PredictabiUty of overcuts obtained for specific appHcations and the particular electrolytes to be used for the alloy metals that have to be machined must also be considered along with specific controls and limits on the ECM equipment needed.

You should set up a common entry point for such data and put in place an evaluation function to convey appropriate data to the manufacturing, engineering, and design activities. A corrective action form or improvement form could be used to convey the data and obtain a written response of the action to be taken. A log of servicing reports would assist in tracking servicing concerns and demonstrate you were making effective use of the data. 

A production facility will be considered as a facility for processing pharmaceuticals or food products or manufacturing engineering products or consumer goods. The facility must utilize real estate, equipment, materials and labor to generate profit for investors and, philosophically, to enrich the life of all associated with it.
