Layer palette

A screenshot of an L-Edit screen is shown in Figure 1.20. It includes a menu (top), tool bars (top), a layout area (middle), a layer palette (left), and a command line (bottom). In addition, it has location information within the layout (top right). [Pg.25]

This approach is well suited to monochrome displays, and triplet sub-pixelation can be used to generate a palette of apparent colors as used in current RGB schemes. An improved design allows the use of three layers of cyan, magenta, and yellow oil dyes that can each be displaced to provide a broad range of colors without requiring any sub-pixelation. [Pg.975]

The colour palette of electrochromism is very large, thanks to the large number of electrochromic materials. There are many possibilities for extending the colour palette of an electrochromic stmcture the superposition of several electrochromic materials, each on different layers [65] the juxtaposition of several electrochromic materials on the same layer [59] the choice of a natural polyelectrochromic material the mixture of an electrochromic material with a classic dye the mixture of two... [Pg.553]

The solution certainly isn t a set of handy formulas no artist wants the word "cliche" emblazoned on his or her flag. The solution is an expansive palette of techniques that can be layered, adapted, mixed, and reworked in infinite combinations. Van Gogh, Rembrandt, and... [Pg.34]

It has been shown that the charge is significantly increased when thin platinum galvanostatic deposits are achieved onto platinum plates [50]. Two main results are presented in this chapter the reversible charge of the layers in the presence of tetramethylammonium salts and the evidence of large swellings with a wide palette of TAAX salts [51]. [Pg.140]

In this approach concerning Pt and Pd, electrochemistry appears to be a suitable tool in the formation and detailed study of these phases. It is certain that phases that imply TAAX salts cannot be produced without polarization of the metal. Reactions of these phases with bulky ions and possible exchanges (or incorporations) of a large palette of Ji-acceptors or free radicals at the metal surface or inside a reaction layer adjacent to the interface certainly provide rich possibilities for decorating functionalized metals. Preliminary tests on nickel showed that charges in the presence of alkaline iodides were successful and led to electron storage. [Pg.166]

To the left in Figure 1.22 is the color palette for the different layers. This is similar to the palette of colors used in a painting, and different layers ean be selected by a mouse click to change layers. Not all of the layers shown in the color palette or the layer setup are neeessarily used. [Pg.26]

With the help of those surface treatment technologies, we were able to promote our face of the display products. The coating technique to form uniform thin layers allowed us to now make AR and AG coatings as well as protect films made from liquid crystalline polymers, leading to a wide palette of products utilizing optical film technology processing. [Pg.88]
