Labels standard operating procedures

There should be written standard operating procedures (SOP) in place before sampling. Before sampling, the operator should have all the equipment, containers, and labels needed for sampling this information should be included in the SOP. All labels should be applied at the time of sampling. 

Inspection of the packaging and labeling area before and after use. This is typically a formal line clearance per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). 

Primary antibody or labeled reagent omitted. Reagent used in wrong order. Repeat the procedure using the manufacturer s staining system specification sheet or standard operating procedure reagent checklist as established by the individual laboratory. 57-60...

From 1998 to 2001, the IAEA conducted a CRP on techniques for labelling biomolecules for targeted therapy, whose participants developed several protocols and standard operating procedures for labelhng peptides with metallic radionuclides and iodine isotopes. These results are published in Ref. [1.21]. For the current CRP, it was decided to adopt the relevant results reported in that pubhcation. 

There should be standard operating procedures for the internal labelling, quarantine, and storage of starting materials, packaging materials, and other materials, as appropriate. 

In case of use date extension an additional label should be affixed to the investigational medicinal product. This additional label should include the new use date and repeat the batch number. It may be superposed on the old use date, but, for quality control reasons, not on the original batch number. This operation may be performed on site by the clinical trial monitor(s) or the clinical trial site pharmacist, in accordance with specific and standard operating procedures and under contract if applicable. The operation should be checked by a second person. Documented evidence of this additional liability should be available in the trial documentation and in the batch records. 

The simple fact was that the British Intelhgence Service didn t trust him and never had. Nor did others. Precautionary information provided in the overall safety policy further explains common labeling themes. Ultimately, increased safe behavior, enforced by policy, eliminates the need for burdensome labeling information.
