Kansui

Euphorbia kansui Lion. Qian Jin Zi, Gan Suei (root) Alpha-euphol, tirucallol, alpha-euphorbol, kansuinine.33-144 This herb is very toxic. Diuretic, expectorant, for ascites, constipation, dysuria, hydrothorax. 

Gan Cao (Glycyrrhizae radix) is incompatible with Gan Sui (Euphorbiae kansui radix), Da Jl (Knoxiae radix), Yuan Hua [Genkwa flos) and Hai Zao (Sargassum)... 

Wheat noodles are consumed in large amounts in China, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines.509 Oriental wheat noodles may be divided broadly into two classes the Japanese white salted noodle and the Chinese (Cantonese) yellow alkaline noodle. The first class is made from wheat flour (100 parts), water (35 parts) and table salt (1-2 parts) whereas the second class is made by replacing table salt with a mixture of sodium and potassium carbonates, often referred to as kansui. Within the two classes, the five popular types of noodles are raw wet (boiled) dried instant fried and steamed and dried.509,532,533... 

Euphorbia kansui Lion (Euphorbiaceae family) is distributed widely in northwest China. The dried roots of the plant are known as kansui and classified as a lower-class medicine. It is used as an herbal remedy for ascites (abdominal fluid accumulation) and cancer in China.

Three results with alumina powders (Figures 2, 3 and 4) show the effect of the pattern of size distribution. First measurement of limestone powder (Kansui-stone) showed very poor results (Figure 5), and then repeat measurement was made by standardizing the operating conditions, especially the preparation of dispersant, but the second results did not show sufficient improvement (Figure 6).
