Most books and courses on self-development are to do with personal skills (usually interpersonal skills) and coping skills (e.g. stress and time management), while self-management tends to be primarily about managing one s external behaviour without necessarily exploring its well-springs. 

The recipient of loyalty attitudes and behaviors should also be considered.
