Plug Cocks These valves (Fig. 10-152) are limited to temperatures below 260°C (500°F) since differential expansion between the plug and the body results in seizure. The size and shape of the port divide these valves into different types. In order of increasing cost they are short venturi, reduced rectangular port long venturi, reduced rec taugular port full rectangular port and full round port. 

All diesel fuels tend to contain trace water, expressed in parts per million (ppm). With the veiy high fuel injection pressures now used in electronically controlled diesel engine, fuel-filter/water separators are widely used, since water allowed to circulate freely through the injection system can result in seizure of components and erosion of injector orifice holes, and in extreme cases the high compressibility factor of water can blow the tip off of the fuel injector. 

The drug was subsequently reintroduced for treatment-resistant or treatment-intolerant patients in the UK and USA in 1990. The drug is completely free of extrapyramidal side effects but has to be monitored for the development of neutropenia and agranulocytosis. Other problems include sialorrhoea, sedation, reduction in seizure...
