It is expected that the excellence of a correlation should diminish as the correlated process and the model process are made increasingly different in their mechanistic character. Thus, we should not expect great generality from univariate correlations on the other hand, from the quality of the correlation we may be able to leam something about the correlated process. Visualization techniques have greatly improved many areas of biomedical research and practice [Johnson et al, 2004], including medical diagnosis, planning of surgical techniques, and simulation of biological behavior. Cavassa and Simo [2003] present work on a virtual patient system that provides a 3-D model of the patient and an ER room with a physiological model that can react to interventions. 

The main contribution of X-ray magnetic scattering to the study of Er has been to shed further light on the phases in the intermediate temperature interval between and Tc, and more recently to characterize the temperature dependence of the magnetic order parameter near 7. X-ray magnetic scattering has revealed a great wealth of new information on these intermediate phases that fits most easily with the cycloidal model.
