Graphics Option

Minimize cw-2-butene. From the View menu, select Pluto. Your screen image should resemhle Fig. 5-6. Go to File and Print your pluto drawing. Repeat with tra s-2-hutene. Include the structure drawings with your report. You can create pluto drawings for any of the stick figures in future computer projects. There are other graphical options. 

This program uses TrueType fonts to display information in each window. When you print these windows, you need to make sure that the Print TrueType fonts as Graphics option is enabled under the Printer Setup options. Options vary for various printers and their corresponding printer drivers, but most printer drivers either have this option or (less commonly) print TrueType fonts as graphics all the time. If this option is not selected, the printer will probably pick one of its built-in fonts, causing the printout to look different from what is displayed on the screen.

The Computer. AXIS is written in FORTRAN and runs on a GEC 4000 series multi-user mini computer equipped with a Graphics Option Controller (GOC) model 5250, manufactured by Sigma Electronic Systems Ltd. This device converts an alphanumeric visual display unit into a graphics terminal, allowing independent use of the alphanumeric and graphics screens. In addition, it provides cursor handling facilities and the ability to selectively erase part of the screen. All of these features are utilised by AXIS.

There are a host of different ways to adjust the look of the two-dimensional plots that we make in Mathematica. These adjustments are referred to as Graphics Options. To see what option we have in the Plot command we can use the double question mark command. 

To reset the graphics options to their original present values we simply instruct the program to go back to Default settings for the axes and plot styles with the same command structure ...
