The hierarchical code organization is illustrated in Fig. 18.3. This is by code series and then individual codes. ADAS provides extensive Fortran and IDL subroutine libraries which are available for use in a user s own codes and analysis programs. The IDL subroutines support the user s interface to interactive ADAS and graphical presentation of results. Modular basic atomic calculation routines, utilities and access routines to the ADAS data classes are mostly provided in Fortran but generally with IDL versions which use the Fortran through C wrappers. In particular reaEadf .pro and run-adas.pro IDL procedures give access to ADAS data or run ADAS codes at the IDL command line - independent of interactive ADAS. The libraries now include 700 subroutines. [Pg.403]

Tsang has prepared a series of publications on data required for modelling the combustion of methane [45], methanol [53], propane [54], isobutane [55] and propene [56]. The treatment is less detailed than in the case of the CEC publications there is less evaluation of the primary data, often previous evaluations are accepted, and there is no graphical presentation of results. However, data on more than 500 reactions are considered and, where there are no experimental data, estimates of the rate constants are given. Unimolecular reactions are also treated slightly differently from the CEC evaluations as described in Section 3.3. [Pg.284]

A summary, including tabular and graphic presentations of results, of the stability studies undertaken on a drug substance is to include information on testing conditions, batches, and analytical procedures and a discussion of the results and conclusions. Also to be included are the proposed storage conditions, retest dates, or shelf life (where relevant) and a summary of the postapproval stability protocol. [Pg.386]

The graphical presentation of results may take various forms. Generally, advanced software provides their own analysis tools, but the exchange of data with all-purpose spreadsheets is usually available. Detailed results, as internal flows or tables of properties, may be exported to specialised design packages. [Pg.46]

C.3 The coded output from the first template is then transferred to subsequent templates which enable statistical analysis and graphical presentation of results both for individual subjects and for groups of subjects. [Pg.29]

Figure 2.121 shows the graphical presentation of results with and without evacuation of the cavity and the corresponding measurement results. The surface is much smoother with the evacuation. A reduction of the median roughness of 26% with a PC/ABS can be seen on the polished surface using a white-light distance measurement. [Pg.440]

The F-N curve, the risk profile, and the risk contour are the three most commonly used methods of graphically presenting risk results. Normally, you will elect to use more than one of these methods when evaluating risk estimates for decision making. [Pg.44]

Graphics In most cases a graphical presentation of each application is necessary. Here, it is possible to store photographs, sketches, CAD drawings, computer simulation results, and experimental results for use in the database. [Pg.607]

Graphical presentation of data assists in determining the form of the function of a single variable (or two variables). The response y versus the independent variable x can be plotted and the resulting form of the model evaluated visually. Figure 2.4 shows experimental heat transfer data plotted on log-log coordinates. The plot... [Pg.49]

In the interest of clarifying the discussion a number of graphical presentations of experimental data have been included. As a result of their ready availability many of these diagrams have been taken from the authors publications. [Pg.243]

In graphic presentation of Kk results, the error bars given for the control are typical of all those data points which do not have their own error bars. In cases where error exceeded 10%, individual error bars are provided and labelled with the corresponding symbol. Such large deviations are thought to result from the violation of the homogeneity criterion of linear elastic fracture mechanics at 15% of certain oligomers. (See, for example, Fig. 7). [Pg.97]

In addition, in the graphical presentation of data, different conventions are used, giving rise to problems in the interpretation and comparison of results. However, a good convention will not cause any problems. In this book (Fig. 1.2) positive potentials are directed to the right of the origin, and anodic (oxidation) currents are taken as positive (directed upward from the... [Pg.8]

Within two weeks of the study closing date, we issue an interim report, the purpose of which is to provide rapid feedback to participants. At the conclusion of each study, a detailed final report is prepared and issued to participants. This report contains a full description of the study together with statistical analysis and graphical presentation of the results. The report is prepared in a standardised format consistent with ISO and ILAC guidelines for proficiency test reports. [Pg.119]
