In addition, the reviewed NAP policy emphasizes the success of the whole Malaysian automotive industry [16, 43]. NAP aims to attract more established automakers to invest in Malaysia. At the same time, NAP also encourages local participation via localization and offers more customers proliferation, as many Malaysian vendors depended solely on Proton. This policy provides more opportunities for Malaysian vendors to receive technology transfer from foreign investors [5]. Vendors valuable experience in working with other established automakers can improve vendors technical proficiency and enable them to look into potential buyers other than Proton. There are a number of CSFs (highlighted in bold font) mentioned directly or indirectly in the findings. The CSFs from literature is specific to the Malaysian automotive industry, except for culture. The rank of the CSFs may not be the same as in Table 24.3 because of a different scenario. Therefore, authors have to further analyze the information and data provided, according to its importance, as area of focus for future DC development framework [44]. [Pg.297]

We are convinced that ionic liquids offer a huge potential for better, more efficient, safer or totally new, engineering applications, but there is still much to do. Alternative ionic liquid structures, more physico-chemical and engineering data, large-scale ionic liquid production, registration of new ionic liquids, improved theoretical prediction tools and the development of dedicated process units are on the way. The outcome of these efforts will certainly facilitate in the future the application of these fascinating liquids in more and more technical applications. [Pg.199]
