Full indicator reading

Tolerance, full indicator movement FIM is a term used to identify tolerance with respect to concentricity. Terms used in the past were full indicator reading (FIR) and total indicator reading (TIR). [Pg.540]

Two versions of SELECT Combination have been defined. In the first version, the selectors of the two SELECTS are concatenated to form a new selector, as shown Figure 3-6. In this figure, indicates reading a bit field of value r , and represents concatenation of two values. In the second version, if the two selectors reference either the same value or subfields read from the same value, the full value is used as the resulting selector. [Pg.50]

The indicated flow of acetic acid is 9000 liters per day. The instrument technician checks the flowmeter to see if it has drifted, by opening valve B, with A and C closed (see Fig. 6.7). The reagent of known concentration is usually used as the titrant. The titrant is poured into a buret (also spelled burette) until it is nearly full, and an initial buret reading is taken. Buret numbering is close to zero when nearly full. A known volume of the solution of unknown concentration is added to a flask and placed under the buret.
