Fixatives alternate

Two major sources of ultrasound are employed, namely ultrasonic baths and ultrasonic immersion hom probes [79, 71]- The fonuer consists of fixed-frequency transducers beneath the exterior of the bath unit filled with water in which the electrochemical cell is then fixed. Alternatively, the metal bath is coated and directly employed as electrochemical cell, but m both cases the results strongly depend on the position and design of the set-up. The ultrasonic horn transducer, on the other hand, is a transducer provided with an electrically conducting tip (often Ti6A14V), which is inuuersed in a three-electrode thenuostatted cell to a depth of 1-2 cm directly facing the electrode surface. 

The intra-orbit optimization process is carried out by varying the density parameters uj, 6,-, cj while keeping the wavefunction (or orbital) parameters fixed. Alternatively, inter-orbit optimization is accomplished by optimizing the wavefunction parameters for the energy functional... 

The animal is perfused first with 1-2 ml of saline, followed by 4% paraformaldehyde in 0.1 M sodium phosphate buffer (pH 7.4). Postfixation is accomplished overnight at 4°C in the same fixative. Alternatively, the tissue can be fixed by immersion in the same fixative or 10% commercial formalin in the same buffer. 

Not all reported problems of a CDS will be resolved, they might be minor and have no fundamental effect on the operation of the system and may not even be fixed. Alternatively, a work around may be required which should be documented and sometimes even retraining may be necessary. Other errors may be fatal or major, which means that the system cannot be used until fixed. In these cases, the revalidation policy will be triggered and the fix tested and validated before the CDS can be operational again.

The melting-crystallization cycle of an oriented network that is conducted under equilibrium conditions results in a reversible contractile system when the force is held fixed. Alternatively, large changes in the tension are observed when the length is held constant. These two complementary observations are inherent properties of all types of macromolecular systems. The above analysis has been limited to apure one-component homopolymer of uniform cross-section. However, it can be extended, in a straightforward manner to include inhomogeneous fibers, copolymers, and polymer-diluent mixtures.(4)... 

Essential larger quantities of material can be treated with a newly developed plate molecular still [5]. It is a combination of plate-falling film evaporator and short path still. In a vacuum chamber heated and cooled plates are fixed alternately Figure 15.12 shows the principle. The feed is equally distributed at the top of the heated plates. The produced vapours are condensed on the cold surfaces. At the bottom of the still distillates and residues are collected separately and discharged. Main advantages no rotating parts and a large evaporation area per volume vacuum chamber. 

Once the intensive variables F are specified, the system is compietely defined. For example, in a binary system ( = 2) having vapor-Uquid equiUbrium (7 = 2), the degrees of freedom available are 2 (= F). Once the values of any two intensive variables are fixed, the values of aU other intensive variables become fixed. If values of pressure and temperature are specified, the compositions of the two phases of the system are determined. Similarly, if the pressure and Uquid mole fraction are specified, the composition of the vapor phase and the value of the tem-peramre become fixed. Alternatively, if the temperature and the vapor phase mole firaction are given, the pressure and the liquid phase mole fraction wiU be fixed automatically from the solution of the governing equations.
