PP normally requires no predrying before injection moulding. Exceptions can arise after storage under unfavourable conditions or when processing filled grades. In the case of filled plastics or daik coloured plastics, additional enhancement of the surface quality could be achieved by predrying the compounds at 120 for 3 hours in a dried air circulating oven.
