Mass yield of waste wood carbonisation are compared to the results of [4] anhydrous cubes (2 cm) of Fagus silvatica were tested in a laboratory kiln in a very controlled way, the heating rate being 2 C/min and the residence time at final temperature was 15 min. The results obtained on waste wood (Fig. 3) are lower than the mass yields obtained in a laboratory kiln.
