Certain dusts possibly requiring fabric treatments to reduce dust seeping or, in other cases, assist in the removal of the collected dust... 

At temperatures above 300°C, low-carbon nickel (0-02% C) is preferred to avoid the possibility of intergranular attack developing after long exposure if material of higher carbon is employed it should be annealed after fabrication and before exposure to caustic alkalis to prevent stress-assisted intergranular corrosion. 

Using the several materials selected and the basic design possibilities, products should be designed to meet the criteria as far as deflection is concerned, and the cost of manufacture estimated. If the designer does not have this type experience it is best done with the assistance of the fabricator who will fabricate the product. In addition to the material cost and the production labor costs, the amortization costs of the tools are to be included. 

SCRIMP process This Seeman Composites Resin Infusion Process (SCRIMP) is described as a gas-assist resin transfer molding process. As an example glass fiber fabrics/ thermoset vinyl ester polyester plastic and polyurethane foam panels (for insulation) are placed in a segmented tool. A vacuum is pulled with a bag so that a huge amount of plastic can be drawn into the mold (Marco process approach). Its curved roof is made separately and bonded to the box with mechanical and adhesive fastening. It is similar to various reinforced plastics molding processes. 

The efficacy of ethylene oxide treatment depends upon achieving a suitable concentrahon in each article and this is assisted greatly by the good penetrating powers of the gas, which diffuses readily into many packaging materials ineluding mbber, plastics, fabric and paper. One should distinguish between true catalyst supports and diluents. A catalyst support (or carrier) is a material on which a thin layer of catalyst is deposited a diluent is an inert material thoroughly mixed with the catalyst to enhance the binding properties of a powdered catalyst or to assist in pelleting or extrusion fabrication procedures.
