External Thread

Threads can be molded or tapped into a plastic. Molded internal threads usually require some type of unscrewing or collaps- 

The properties of the coating industry are essentially for the protection and decoration of the majority of manufactured products 

Substrates protected from different environmental conditions basically include the metals (steel, zinc, aluminum and copper), inorganic materials (plaster, concrete and asbestos), and organic materials (wood, wall-board, wallpaper and plastics). Metals may be surface coated to improve their workability in mechanical processing. 

Different technical developments have occurred in the coating industry which permit the use of a variety of raw materials. It is possible to formulate surface coatings that are suitable for each and every kind of material. In many cases a number of different coating systems may come into consideration for painting a particular substrate.

Before stabbing, liberally apply thread compound to the entire internally and externally threaded areas. It is recommended that high-pressure, modified thread compound as specified in API Bulletin 5A2 Bulletin on Thread Compounds be used except in special cases where severe conditions are encountered. In these special cases it is recommended that high-pressure silicone thread compound as specified in Bulletin 5A2 be used. 

There are many designs of rotary valves Some have externally threaded glass barrels, others have internally threaded barrels some have exposed O-rings, others have covered O-rings, and some have no replaceable O-rings. Regardless, they all work with the same operational technique. Rotating cap motion translates into vertical motion on a central shaft, which rides up and down to open or close a pathway.

Male- Any part, such as a bolt, designed to fit into another (female) part. External threads are male. 

Dies are used to cut external threads and are available in sizes up to approximately 36mm thread diameter. The common type, for use by hand, is the circular split die, made from high-speed steel hardened and tempered and split at one side to enable small adjustments of size to be made. Fig. 2.19. 

Limit gauges for checking internal and external threads are available in a similar form to those for plain holes and shafts but with threaded rather than plain diameters. 

BS 3643-2 2007 specifies four fundamental deviations and tolerances for internal threads 4H, 5H, 6H and 7H and three for external threads 4h, 6g and 8g resulting in a variety of different types of fit, with the most common 6ff/6g for general engineering work, regarded as a medium fit. 

Internal threads can be formed by collapsible c res or unscrewing core inserts. External threads can be formed by spht cores or by unscrewing devices. All of these designs increase mold costs. 

The screw and nut parts have the opposite characteristics. It is not difficult to reach their crevices (internal and external threads) with cleaning fluid. They are not difficult to dry, and the need for superheated vapor was only for illustration.
