ADAM-EVA

The WIS solar reformer described above was completed by a methanation system to demonstrate the EVA-ADAM energy transportation providing valuable information for system improvements in the future. [Pg.312]

TREMP A methanation process for making SNG (synthetic natural gas) developed by Haldor Topsoe. Derived from the EVA-ADAM process for transporting energy. [Pg.371]

Harth, R., Range, J., Boltendahl, U. (1981). EVA-ADAM system, a method of energy transportation by reversible chemical reactions. In "Energy storage and transportation" (Beghi, G., ed.), pp. 358-374. Reidel, Dordrecht. [Pg.416]

Genter JQlich, known as the EVA/ADAM system to prove the ability of the HTGR... [Pg.161]

The complete EVA-II / ADAM-II system was operated in Julich for a total time of 10,150 hours. It has demonstrated for the first time the chemical cycle process under the realistic conditions of industrial application with a transported power of 300 kW (EVA / ADAM) and of 5.4 MW (EVA-II / ADAM-II), respectively. The test facilities, however, were not operated for the sake of maximizing the energy efficiency, they were rather used to examine the components behavior under various load conditions including fast transients [1, 5, 6]. [Pg.337]

The EVA / ADAM system has been established, besides in Germany, also in the USA and the Russian Federation [9]. [Pg.337]

TREMP [Tops0e Recycle Energy-efficient Methanation Process] A process for making substitute natural gas from a variety of carbon feedstocks. In addition, it produces superheated steam for use in a steam turbine. Developed by Haldor Topspe from the EVA-ADAM process. Licensed to CPI Xinjiang Energy Co. in 2012 for completion in 2014. [Pg.353]
