In this presentation, I wish to introduce the related topic of molecular dissimilarity, and to suggest that it may prove to be of equal, or perhaps even greater, value. Nucleic acids are traditionally fixed to membranes in a vacuum oven (a conventional oven can be used for nylon membranes). Birds were reared on deep litter system of housing under ideal and identical management and environmental conditions.
