Energy primary cells

Lithium primary cells have also been introduced up to the AA-size. These voltage compatible cells have a working voltage of 1.5 V, and can deliver up to four times the energy of a comparable alkaline cell. 

Lithium primary cells have typical energy densities of up to 250 Wh/kg (500 Wh/dm3), which are twice as high as the best conventional aqueous... 

The zinc-silver oxide couple has been known for over 100 years and forms one of the highest energy aqueous cells. The theoretical energy density is 300 Wh/kg (1400 Wh/dm3) and practical values in the range 40-110 Wh/ kg (116-320 Wh/dm3) have been achieved. Primary cells were considered briefly in Chapter 3.

Brown fat, however, can actually produce heat. This heat production is called thermogenesis. Brown fat cells contain a lot of mitochondria, also known as a cell s "power plant" because they are the primary source of energy in cells. The energy is produced during respiration. The presence of so many mitochondria within brown fat cells is the key to tissue s ability to produce heat. 

Sugar beet pulp is made of primary cell walls. The breakage of the structure has to be done at a smaller scale and a higher energy is needed to break some...
