Drugs drug-carrier association

Historically DDTS were developed in environments where the primary goal was proof of concept , rather than developing a commercial product. The typical pharmaceutical considerations described above were not dealt with seriously in the early days of drag carrier research, thus early drug-carrier systems were associated with long gestation periods from product development to product marketing. 

Cancer Therapy Nanoparticles were first prepared with the concept of targeting colloidal carriers of nanosize to tumor tissues via the leaky vasculature in tumor regions. Since then nanoparticulate drug carriers have been associated with cancer therapy through passive and active targeting to cancer cells. Thus, amphiphilic CD nanoparticles were mainly focused on cancer therapy and its different aspects.
