DREAM trial

The Dream trial examined outcomes two years following open or endovascular repair of AAAs (42). The cumulative survival rates for the two groups were similar 89.6% (open), 89.7% (endovascular). There was no significant difference in aneurysm related mortality. The study concluded that the early advantage of EVAR is no longer present after one year following intervention. 

After extensive research, followed by numerous full-scale trials, BIM/Cellkem found the way to inhibit/ deactivate catalase and take control over the microbes. During this work we tried almost every biocide one can dream of. 

Foraging for food, early humans used trial and error to determine which plants were edible and, unfortunately, which were deadly. However, some plants that were neither food nor poison had another entirely surprising effect. These plants produced an intoxicated, or drunken, state or caused the user to have visions or hear voices of people who were not there. To the ancients, these waking dreams (which are called hallucinations—distortions of perception that seem real but are not) were voices from their gods or the spirit world. 

A 47-year-old man with a dysthymic disorder and intermittent panic attacks and rage outbursts took chromium 400 micrograms/day, and after 1 day had strikingly vivid dreams. Over the next several days there was a dramatic improvement in his mood and behavior. The efficacy of chromium was later confirmed by a double-blind, placebo-controlled, n-of-1 trial. 

In a study of 21 outpatients with refractory neuropathic pain treated with oral ketamine, 17 reported adverse events (20). The most common were light-headedness, dizziness, tiredness, headache, a nervous floating feeling, and bad dreams. The adverse effects were sufficiently important to prevent ten patients from continuing with the trial. 

Several NMDA receptor antagonists have been synthesized and tested in stroke models, epilepsy models, and in clinical trials. Many of the antagonists are limited by side effects such as hemodynamic abnormalities, hypotension, neuronal vacuolation, memory disturbances, cognitive disturbances, motor dysfunction, seizures, hallucinations, unpleasant dreams, psychotomimetic episodes, and other effects. This has made the search difficult for NMDA receptor antagonists that can be used as neu-roprotective agents. 

In a study on the effect of pharmacological doses of folic acid, 15 mg was given orally to 14 volunteers for a period of 1 month. They complained of gastrointestinal and sleep disturbances, malaise, excitability, and vivid dreaming (H31). The trial was without controls and repeating the study using a double-blind technique failed to show adverse effects in any of the volunteers (H32).
