Digital record

Not in the class of digital recording storage media are video CDs with diameters of 200 and 300 mm, respectively. These are storage disks for recording the analogue signal of videos and are of air-sandwich constmction with two poly(methyl methacrylate) disks.

Discs Discs of nickel electroformed on to mandrels bearing grooves modulated with recorded sound have been used for many years for stamping sound recording discs. This process has been adapted and refined for the manufacture of digital records, including video discs . It is also possible to digitally record or compute the data required for a diffracting structure and then uses this data to produce relief holograms, usually via a photolithographic process. 

Nowadays, the signals are almost always digitally recorded and stored for subsequent processing, which involves the application of chemo-metric pretreatment and pattern recognition tools. 

Apparatus, such as that developed at RAPRA13, has been designed to reduce as far as possible operator dependence. A load cell is driven onto the jig by a pneumatic ram at the moment when a very small additional compression on the test piece is detected electrically, the ram is automatically stopped, the force reading digitally recorded and the ram reversed. The Rapra measuring head can be used with a variety of jig designs including Lucas.

The afore mentioned production lines comprise heat-generating plants and cabinets accommodating various test instruments and controls, which provide for control of the mechanisms and devices in local and automatic blocked control modes indication and digital recording of preset and current values of monitored parameters in thenatural system of units, periodically and in response to a call automatic warning and protective interlocking. 

The basic operation of a sampling synthesizer is to playback digitized recordings of entire musical instrument notes under musical control. Playback of a note can be triggered by depressing a key on a musical keyboard, or from some other controller, or from a computer. The simplest samplers are only capable of reproducing one note at a time, while more sophisticated samplers can produce polyphonic (multi-note), multi-timbral (multi-instrument) performances. 

Two methods are used to perform the Fourier analysis. If the signal is digitally recorded over at least one period of the lowest frequency, a fast Fourier transform (FFT) can be applied [36].
