DETHERM database

Dortmunder Datenbank DDE (DETHERM database) [online]. Available from STN International, DECHEMA e.V. server, 2001. [Pg.455]

More information abont the DDB, inclnding a list of distributors, may be found at their Web site [13]. One notable feature is a free lookup program that allows one to search the database and see whether or not the DDB contains data for a particnlar system. Much of the data in the DDB is also available through the DETHERM database mentioned in Section 1.9.4. [Pg.29]

ELDAR Database available on-line at http //www.uni-regensburg.de/Fakulta-eten/nat Fak rV/Physikalische Chemie/Kunz/eldar/eldhp.html also available through DECHEMA s DETHERM database at http //www.dechema.de/detherm-design-l.html. [Pg.33]

DECHEMA Chemical Data Series — DECHEMA distributes the DETHERM database, which emphasizes data used in process design in the chemical industry, including thermodynamic and transport properties of about 20,000 pure compounds and 90,000 mixtures. Access is available... [Pg.2537]

Typical numeric databases are Beilstein, Speclnfo, DETHERM, and the Cambridge Structural Database. [Pg.239]

Another numeric database including bibliographic information is DETHERM. [Pg.249]

This database provides thermophysical property data (phase equilibrium data, critical data, transport properties, surface tensions, electrolyte data) for about 21 000 pure compounds and 101 000 mixtures. DETHERM, with its 4.2 million data sets, is produced by Dechema, FIZ Chcmic (Berlin, Germany) and DDBST GmhH (Oldenburg. Germany). Definitions of the more than SOO properties available in the database can be found in NUMERIGUIDE (sec Section 5.18). [Pg.249]

DETHERM/ELDAR Database The Electrolyte Database Regensburg ELDAR [15] is a numerical property database for electrolytes and electrolyte solutions from the Institute of Physical and Theoretical Chemistry of the University of Regensburg. It started in 1976 and contains data on pure substances and aqueous as well as organic solutimis. The database was designed as a literamre reference, numerical data, and also model database for fundamental electrochemical research, applied research, and also the design of production processes. [Pg.292]

ELDAR is distributed as part of DECHEMA s numerical database for theimophysical property data DETHERM [16, 17], To access ELDAR, one can therefore use several options. [Pg.293]

Check if BIPs for all the binary pairs in the system are available in the simulator data bank (the most common source is DETHERM thermophysical database [14]). For the three most common models (Wilson nonrandom two liquid [NRTL] and UNIversal QUAsiChemical [UNIQUAC]), the values of BIPs are different, and they are not correlated from one model to another. [Pg.301]

DETHERM, DECHEMA Chemistry Data Series Database, Version 1.4 (December 2(XX))... [Pg.115]

While the Beilstein file contains a good deal of data in this area, there are also excellent compilations dedicated to thermodynamic quantities. DETHERM is produced by Dechema, and contains thermophysical properties for ca. 17000 compounds and mixtures (see Chemical Engineering Databases). The subject matter is taken from phase equilibria, PVT behavior, thermodynamic quantities, transport phenomena, surface properties, and electrolyte properties. Attention must also be drawn to the compilations of the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The NIST Chemistry WebBook contains thermodynamic data for over 5000 compounds and ion energetics data for over 10000 compounds. The user may search on specific compounds based on name, chemical formula, or CAS Registry Number. Structures are given for all species, as well as common and commercial names. [Pg.988]
