Depot diet effects

The use of HCG/Clomid was necessary due to the HPTA inhibiting effects of Testosterone Propionate and Dianabol. I was sensitive to highly androgenic AAS that aromatize so Nolvadex and Proviron used as an anti-estrogen needed to be continued as far as week 11 if I was not careful with my diet. The combination of Winstrol Depot and Dianabol caused some concern for liver toxicity. Primobolan tabs were reported as used in substitution for a better choice. However, the cycle lost some noted effectiveness as a result. The use of Deca Durabolin and Clenbuterol during weeks 4-10 was not indicated as highly liver toxic. [Pg.166]

A number of factors other than diet can influence the fatty acid composition of the depot lipids of a given species. These include genetic and sex effects (16, 17). Physical environment also plays a role. For example, in sheep, colder temperatures result in softer body fats with lower melting points and higher iodine numbers (18). In general, diet has a more marked effect on fat quality than do breed or sex, especially in nonmminants, which are susceptible to alteration of tissue fatty acids by dietary modification. [Pg.211]

Mice, in particular, appear to be most sensitive to the effects of CLA. The addition of CLA at 0.5% to the diet of growing male and female ICR mice resulted in -60% less body fat after 4 wk (8). In male inbred AKR/J mice, adipose depot weights were 43-88% lower with 1% CLA diets compared with control diets (11). The marked differences in body fat content were independent of any effect of CLA on feed intake, which varied by study. In some studies the CLA-supplemented mice also had greater accretion of lean mass (8) or body protein (9), and body weight was not different from that of control mice. But, in other studies, CLA was associated with lower body weight (7,10,11). [Pg.323]

The hardening influence of high-carbohydrate low-fat diets on depot fat has been shown. As this is entirely due to an alteration in the fatty acid pattern, is a similar effect seen in the liver fatty acid pattern following on high-carbohydrate diets ... [Pg.48]
