The weight of evidence suggests that PbB levels of "10-15 g/dL and possibly lower" are the levels of concern (ATSDR 1993 Davis 1990 EPA 1986). The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has determined that primary prevention activities should begin at blood lead levels of 10 g/dL in children (CDC 1991).
