The candidate method is used to support drug synthesis, excipient compatibility, and ultimately to evaluate candidate formulations. The present state of the Danube water quality, characterized by classical quality parameters, is generally acceptable but with a slow degradation trend. They have significant time-degradation trend in long-time work or test. 

The proposed method consists in considering a mixture of Gamma process models. It allows to cluster the degradation paths in classes corresponding to the different degradation trends and to estimate the Gamma process parameters. It uses an expectation-minimization approach that takes into consideration that all measurements in a same path belong to the same class. 

The degradation of PLA, PCL and their nanocomposites in compost under controlled conditions was also studied in this work. According to most literature, the addition of clays in biopolymers could accelerate their biodegradability level in compost however, in this work we could observe that this is not an iron rule as nanoparticles can have dilferent elfects on the polymer degradation trend depending on the degradation mechanism of neat polymer and on the level of clay dispersion into the polymer.
