In 2005 Blanchemain et al. immersed PET vascular prostheses into a solution containing a polycarboxylic acid, a cyclodextrin (CD) (Fig. 13.17) and a catalyst, and placed them into a thermofixation oven before impregnation with an antibiotic solution (vancomycin).
