Daclizumab efficacy

Immunogenicity Low titers of anti-idiotype antibodies to daclizumab were detected in the adult patients treated with daclizumab with an overall incidence of 14%. The incidence of anti-daclizumab antibodies observed in the pediatric patients was 34%. No antibodies that affected efficacy, safety, serum daclizumab levels or any other clinically related parameter were detected.

The efficacy of daclizumab in acute and chronic glucocorticoid-refractory graft-versus-host disease has been studied in 16 patients, of whom nine responded (2). However 14 developed infectious complications during treatment, with a high incidence of cytomegalovirus reactivation there were three infection-related deaths.
