Cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors renal effects

There is no evidence that short-term use of cyclooxygenase inhibitors has any major deleterious effect on renal function in healthy individuals. 

There is no evidence that short-term use of single cyclooxygenase inhibitors has any major deleterious effect on renal function in healthy, non-hypovolemic individuals, but even short-term use of a compound of this class is never a guarantee that nephropathy will not occur.
