Mast cell stabilizers include cromolyn sodium 4% (Opticrom, Crolom) and lodoxamide tromethamine 0.1% (Alomide), which are currently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for VKC but offer off-label relief for allergic conjunctivitis.
