Receiving costs

For each of the evaluation criteria, a visual icon, or rating value, is used to indicate the results of the analysis. For example, the strategies with the least expensive capital costs have a rating icon of one dollar sign ( ) while those with the most expensive capital costs receive a rating icon of four dollar signs ( ). Once production commences (possibly 3-8 years after the first capex) gross revenues are received from the sale of the hydrocarbons. These revenues are used to recover the capital expenditure (capex) of the project, to pay for the operating expenditure (opex) of the project (e.g. manpower, maintenance, equipment running costs, support costs), and to provide the host government take which may in the simplest case be in the form of taxes and royalty. 

The need to meet environmental regulations can affect processing costs. Undesirable air emissions may have to be eliminated and Hquid effluents and soHd residues treated and disposed of by incineration or/and landfilling. It is possible for biomass conversion processes that utilize waste feedstocks to combine waste disposal and treatment with energy and/or biofuel production so that credits can be taken for negative feedstock costs and tipping or receiving fees. 

Finance. Cost accounting, budget control, payroU, records, accounts payable, accounts receivable, capital equipment control, taxes, customs, iasurance, loss control, and management information are all part of the finance function. 

The cost and selling price for matches increase considerably with higher quaUty cover paper, elaborateness of printed messages on and inside the cover (and sometimes even on the splint), and size of the order. In any case, the customer receives exactiy the same high quahty matches and striking strip.
