Execution of corporate actions such as coupon payments. [Pg.946]

There has been sufficient interest by the ACS membership in this issue and enough expressed dissatisfaction with many existing corporate compensation plans to warrant continued work to develop and to execute an action program by the Society. [Pg.31]

Think about the roles of successful executives in corporate life. They must anticipate the consequences of their actions (or inactions), plan and problem solve, create and organize information, motivate themselves and others, initiate and follow through on tasks, keep track of responsibilities, make sound decisions and execute them, behave appropriately, and respond quickly to change. [Pg.44]

Since these are very high-level positions within a plant site, these changes will often be authorized by someone at a more senior level or even a corporate role. To facilitate a smooth transition, a plan should be developed with action items at the local level. These action items should be communicated and executed as quickly as possible after the organizational change is communicated. A transfer of knowledge from the prior position holder to the new one is very important so that the new person understands the critical issues with regard to process safety at the site, since some issues may require constant vigilance to avoid a catastrophe. [Pg.92]

But not only trust within one group of stakeholders, e.g. between corporate partners, is important. Most additions to the programme involve both sides, academia and industry. Therefore each side has to trust the other that they are both capable and willing to take their part of the responsibility and actions. A good example is the student selection process. It takes place in two steps an academic selection with focus on academic excellence, executed by the parmer universities and a selection done by corporate partners which emphasis people and leadership skills. Here again, trust in decisions reached by the other parmers is a must. [Pg.51]
