Continuous quality improvement education

Nurses are one of the largest groups in the frontline within the humanitarian community especially in the health care arena. They, as highly skilled professionals, have a vast contribution to make in relation to quality assurance in international disaster response especially with respect to knowledgeable, effective, efficient use of resources and as educators and promoters of health. Evaluation of the effectiveness and quality of any contribution is important for overall quality assurance and improvement in aid relief worldwide. Continuous quality improvement and quality assurance are key to ensuring accountability for efficient and effective delivery of humanitarian aid. Nurses are ideally placed to influence and monitor these two processes.

Practice has proved that only continue to improve the quality of decision-making, management and safety culture of the first-line employees, in order to enhance the overall safety quality. The key to improving the quality of employee safety is an update of the concept. Encourage people to establish a correct concept of security, the most basic, and the most effective means of various forms of publicity and education and training.

Education on plant design certainly has a future. Plant design in industry will always respond to the demands of maintaining production of commodity chemicals. Specialty chemicals are profitable if there is constant improvement in product quality and research continues to renew the list of products that come from scientific research and the new technology produces it to fill the new market demands. 

Examination reforms have also been advocated with National Policy on Education (1968). It states, "A major goal of examination reform should be to improve the reliability and validity of examinations and to make evaluation a continuous process aimed at helping the student to improve his level of achievement rather than at certifying the quality of his performance at a given moment of time". 

It is likely that the number of U.S. citizens receiving chemistry Ph.D.s will continue to decrease. At the same time, U.S. chemistry may find it increasingly difficult to attract and retain outstanding international graduate students and postdoctoral research associates as chemistry and opportunities in other nations improve. The U.S. will find it difficult (but not impossible) to increase the number of B.S. chemists and to improve the quality of K-12 math and science education to preserve the medium and long-term vibrancy of U.S. chemistry. 

To adopt a systemic, research-based approach to innovation and continuous improvement of engineering education, recognizing the importance of diverse approaches - albeit characterized by quality and rigor - to serve the highly diverse technology needs of our society.
