Conformational data, storage

Failure to establish appropriate procedures to assure that computerized processing control systems and data storage systems are secure and managed to assure integrity of processes and data that could affect conformance to specifications. [FDA, 2001]... 

When preparing conformational ligand databases, we are interested in maximally leveraging the time required for database preparation and the space required for data storage. Since the data can typically be used for multiple target systems, each with different small-molecule requirements, it is most efficient to tag the compounds with a variety of information. This allows the incorporation of physicochemical properties as well as target- or therapeutic area-specific information (see later sections of this chapter), all of which can be used to select subsets of the compounds for specific purposes. 

Statistics, data storage is the procedure comprehensible, clear and GLP-conforming (only if necessary)... 

Conformational data must be stored in a manner that allows rigorous searches of all available conformations whilst not impinging on either disk storage requirements or search times.

This covers all aspects of laboratory operations, such as organization of the laboratory and methodology, equipment and staff training, quahty-control systems and storage of data. The company acquired the first accreditation in the UK for the analysis of organic compounds by GC-MS. It also operates appropriate procedures to conform with the Department of Health s Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) recommendations. 

Little data is available on the interaction of protein modification for improved functionality and vitamin bioavailability from modified food-stuffs. Some water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins are protein-bound in their transport, storage and/or active forms. Therefore, methods used to cause dramatic alteration of protein conformation or chemical structure can be assumed to alter some vitamins as well.
