Conductive rollers

Roller charging devices are usually comprised of two or more layers on a metal core. The inner layer is usually of higher conductivity. Roller charging has been described by Kimura (1969), Rothacher and Bujese (1973), Nakamura et al. (1989), Kawamoto and Satoh (1993, 1994), Matsumoto et al. (1993, 1995), Zaretsky (1993), Kawamoto (1994), and Tse et al. (1995). [Pg.16]

The printing of newspapers is conducted at very high speeds, often reaching 3000 feet per minute.
