Concentration influence

The molybdenum, tungsten and tantalum concentration influence on LCD nickel-ferrous HRS resistance, used for gas turbine installations parts is investigated. The tests were carried out on modeling compositions. Samples were molded on the basis of an alloy of the ZMI-3C. The concentration of tantalum varied from 0 up to 5% with a step of 0,5%. The contents of elements were determined by a spectral method. [Pg.437]

Product concentration influences the separation cost and the cost of recycling unconverted reactants. Production rate has a strong effect on investment cost for the full synthesis loop. Selectivity sets the raw material... [Pg.99]

Figures 10 and 11 show the weight change and the retention of strength for iso-phthalic unsaturated polyester resin (iso-UP). These behaviors show almost the same tendency as MTHPA-EP, however, as shown in Figure 12 the concentration influences flexural strength and the strength becomes minimum at the concentration of 30wt%. This behavior is thought to depend on contradictory tendency of the wetability and the reactivity with the concentration. There is no doubt that even small modulator concentrations influence both iihsoliite ami lelalive leteiilions and that selectivity do s change with the type of modifier used. With silica as stationary phase dhd by using a... [Pg.215]

Viral stimulant. Smoke of the leaf, administered by inhalation to mice at variable doses twice daily for 5 days followed by 2 nontreatment days, dosed for two to six cycles, was inactive on encephalomyo-carditis virus. Herpes virus type 1, and influenza virus APR-8 b Vitamins A and C concentrations influence. Methyl chloride extract of the leaf, administered intragastrically to rats at a dose... [Pg.339]

Precipitates water-soluble N. Ratio of 12% TCA soluble N total N is a better index of maturity than water-soluble N total N. TCA must remove prior to further analysis Precipitates proteins and peptides. Concentration influences fractionation (70% most common). Preferred to TCA due to ease of removal of ethanol... [Pg.183]

At the start of optimization of the reaction system, suitable values for pH and temperature have to be chosen as a function of the properties of the reactants and enzymes. Fortunately, most enzyme reactions operate in a narrow band with respect to pH value (7-10) and temperature (30-50 °C). The initial substrate concentration and, in the case of two-substrate reactions, the stoichiometric ratio of the two reactants, have to be selected. The selected enzyme concentration influences both the achievable space-time-yield as well as the selectivity in the case of undesired parallel or consecutive side reactions. In the case of multi-enzyme systems, the optimal activity ratio has to be found. The activity and stability of all the enzymes involved have to be known as a function of the reaction conditions, before the kinetic measurements are made. Enzyme stability is an important aspect of biocatalytic processes and should be expressed preferably as an enzyme unit consumption number, with the dimension unit of activity per mass of product (such as mole, lb, or kg). In multi-enzyme systems the stability of all the enzymes has to be optimized so that an optimal reaction rate and space-time-yield result. [Pg.92]

Li reacts readily with 02 to form a Li20 film as the most stable product. However, Li202 and Li02 can also be formed at the outer part of such a film. The saturation concentration of 02 at room temperature in organic polar aprotic solutions is estimated in the order of 10 -10 4 M [218], Nevertheless, FTIR spectroscopic studies of pairs of Li electrodes treated identically in the same solutions, with the only difference being that one solution was saturated with oxygen, revealed that the presence of 02 (even in such low concentrations) influences the Li surface chemistry in alkyl carbonates and ethereal solutions [19,176],... [Pg.341]

It is then of interest to investigate how the final salt concentration influences the kinetics of vesicle formation. The increase in salt concentration provides the driving force for the reaction, and it is apparent that the larger the salt jump, the greater the tendency will be to form vesicles, which we would expect to be reflected in the observed rates. It should be... [Pg.698]

Like the O—H protons of alcohols, the N—H protons of amines absorb at chemical shifts that depend on the extent of hydrogen bonding. The solvent and the sample concentration influence hydrogen bonding and therefore the chemical shift. Typical N—H chemical shifts appear in the range 81 to 8 4. [Pg.892]

MBPO5 Pr (M=Ca, Sr, Ba) phosphors can be synthesized in air atmosphere by solid-state reactions. The synthetic temperature and doped concentration influence on luminescence. The optimum experimental condition is that the synthetic temperature is 950°C and doped Pr " concentration is 4mol%. [Pg.64]
