Ancom antihypertensive compound tablets Herbbsland, Inc., Tai Chien Inc. 01/17/2003 Contains unapproved reserpine, diazepam, promethazine, and hydrochlorothiazide... [Pg.15]

Compound (tablet strength, mg) Approximate relative potency ... [Pg.665]

Under these conditions, linear calibration curves were obtained over the ranges 0.01-8.00, 0.01-10.00, and 0.01-3.00 pg/mL for vitamin Bj, RF, and vitamin with the limits of determination of 0.008, 0.005, and 0.006 pg/mL, respectively. This method has been applied with satisfactory results in the determination of synthetic mixture of vitamin Bj, RF, vitamin B, and vitamin B compound tablets. The technique described provides a simple, effective, and sensitive method for assay of the biological samples. [Pg.492]

Compound Tablets of Aspirin, J5.P.C. Contain 3 grains of aspirin, grains of phenacetin and J grain of caffeine. [Pg.12]

Tablets of Aspirin and Phenacetin, B.P.C. Contain 3 grains of aspirin and 2 grains of phenacetin. These tablets are assayed by dissolv-ing in dilute sodium hydroxide solution, extracting the phenacetin with chloroform, then heating the aqueous residue to hydrolyse the aspirin and determining the salicylic acid, either by extraction with ether after acidification as given under Compound Tablets of Aspirin, or by bromination as given under Salicylic Acid. The sodium citrate hydrolysis method given above for the determination of aspirin can also be applied directly to this preparation. Tablets of Aspirin and Phenacetin, B.P.C. Tablets of Aspirin, Phenacetin and Codeine, B.P. (Compound Tablets of Codeine). Contain 4 grains of aspirin, 4 grains of phenacetin and grain of codeine phosphate. Tablets of Aspirin, Phenacetin and Codeine, B.P. (Compound Tablets of Codeine). Contain 4 grains of aspirin, 4 grains of phenacetin and grain of codeine phosphate.
For phenacetin the method given under Compound Tablets of Aspirin should be used. [Pg.15]

Compound Tablets of Aneurine, B.P.C. Contain 1 mg each of aneurine hydrochloride and riboflavine and 15 mg of nicotinamide. [Pg.45]

Although the fluorimetric method given above is applicable to this preparation the method of Foster and Murfin described in more detail under Strong Compound Tablets of Aneurine can be applied, but for this simpler preparation the following technique may be used ... [Pg.45]

The estimation of caffeine in mixtures and compound tablets is given under the various galenicals in which it occurs, e,g. Compound Tablets of Aspirin, etc. [Pg.138]

Compound Tablets of Magnesium Carbonate, B.P.C. Each tablet contains 3 grains each of heavy magnesium carbonate and calcium carbonate, 2 grains of sodium bicarbonate and 1 grain each of light kaolin and ginger. [Pg.396]

Capsules of Vitamins, B.P.C., are assayed for nicotinamide by the microbiological method given above under Nicotinic Acid. Compound Tablets of Aneurine, B.P.C.y and Strong Compound Tablets of Aneurine, B.P.C.y are assayed for nicotinamide by direct hydrolysis as given above under Nicotinamide using the equivalent of 20 and 15 tablets respectively. [Pg.444]

Compound Tablets of Codeine, B.P. See under Acetylsalicylic Acid, p. 13. [Pg.497]

Assayed by the method given under Compound Tablets of Aspirin using 0 25 g of powdered tablets (p. 12), without extracting for salicylic acid, i.e. hydrolyse the mixture in acid solution, extract the caffeine with chloroform, reconvert the p-phenetidine into phenacetin, extract and weigh. [Pg.512]

Compound Tablets of Aspirin and Opium, B.P.C.y Tablets of Aspirin and Phenacetin, B,P.C, Compound Tablets of Codeine, B,P, and Soluble Compound Tablets of Codeine, B.P,y see under Acetysalicylic Acid, p. 13. [Pg.512]

Tablets and pills, such as Compound Pills of Phenolphthalein, B.P.C. (containing grain) Compound Tablets of Phenolphthalein,... Tablets and pills, such as Compound Pills of Phenolphthalein, B.P.C. (containing grain) Compound Tablets of Phenolphthalein,...
The riboflavine in Compound Tablets of Aneurine and Strong Compound Tablets of Aneurine can be determined by the above method. [Pg.552]

Strong Compound Tablets of Aneurine, B.P.C. These tablets contain 2 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride together with nicotinamide (20 mg), aneurine hydrochloride (5 mg) and riboflavine (2 mg). The J8.P.C. prescribes a microbiological test for determination of the aneurine and pyridoxine, but the alginic acid separation method of Foster and Murfin is also applicable (see p. 461). [Pg.670]

In addition to uncoated compound tablets, the types listed below are produced for specific purposes ... [Pg.1007]
