If a short-time duty is performed on a Continuous Maximum Rating (CMR) motor with some no-load or idle running, the temperature rise 0 may not reach its maximum value, 0 , us shown in curve (c) of Figure... 

I. A CMR motor therefore can be operated at higher outputs on short-time duties as shown in curve (d). The extent to which a CMR motor cun be over-rated to perform a particular short-time or intermittent duty is considered in the follow ing example. While evaluating the rating for such duties, the heat during start-up and during braking and their frequency of occurrence should be considered.

Continuous current rating (CMR) to carry the circuit current continuously. 

Continuous maximum rating (CMR) and permissible temperature rise this is the maximum r.m.s. current that the bus system can carry continuously without exceeding temperature rise limits, as shown in Table 32.3. The preferred current ratings of the bus system would follow series R-IO of lEC 600. i9, as shown in Section 13.4.1(4).

In the case of a catalytic membrane reactor (CMR), the membrane is (made) intrinsically catalytically active. This can be done by using the intrinsic catalytic properties of the zeolite or by making the membrane catalytically active. When an active phase is deposited on top of a membrane layer, this is also called a CMR because this becomes part of the composite membrane. In addition to the catalytic activity of the membrane, a catalyst bed can be present (PBCMR). The advantages of a CMR are as follows ...
