Civil organization

The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) is the global civil organization of chemists. The Union is organized into Divisions, with Division VII being devoted to Chemistry and Human Health. The latter incorporates the Subcommittee for Medicinal Chemistry and Dmg Development which has projects in various stages of completion. One of these projects, which is devoted to Analogue-Based Drug Discovery , was initiated in 2003. 

The information in this book is collected from published and unpublished literature. Responsibility for the accuracy of this material is disclaimed, however, responsibility is accepted for the selection, organization, and presentation. The vastness of the information necessitates selectivity in the attempt to make a comprehensive and cohesive presentation. The material is selected to illustrate a procedure or principle not advocacy. Every effort toward objectivity was made to balance human health and safety, environment, economic welfare, and civilization. 

Biomass is generally made up of polymers, oligomers, monomers, and other nonpolymerizable simple organic compounds, including metallic salts and complexes [17,29,30]. Polymers are, of course, the major components and have been serving human civilizations from time immemorial. The literature on natural polymers is vast and only a few reviews and books are cited here for further reference [3,17,18,24,29-31,37-53]. The outstanding aspect of natural polymers is their wide variety, which provides innumerable opportunities for structural modifications and utilization. 

Those professionals would be from Emergency Operations Centers, HazMat Teams, Fire Departments, Health Departments, Civil Support Teams (CST), Military Personnels, various Intelligence Organizations, Clinical Laboratories, and Environmental Laboratories.

The NATO Science Programme offers support for collaboration in civil science between scientists of countries of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council. The types of scientific meeting generally supported are Advanced Study Institutes and Advanced Research Workshops, and the NATO Science Series collects together the results of these meetings. The meetings are co-organized by scientists from NATO countries and scientists from NATO s Partner countries—countries of the CIS and Central and Eastern Europe.
