The ciprofloxacin hydrochloride ophthalmic ointment consists of synthetic, sterile, multiple-dose, antimicrobials for topical ophthalmic use. Ciprofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibacterial that is active against a broad spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative ocular pathogens.
