CD tab

Before you can write an audio CD (called burning), ACID must be configured to recognize your CD-writing hardware. From the Options menu, select Preferences and click the CD tab. In the Write drive box, select your CD writer from the list. In the Write speed box, select Max. Unless you have problems with CD writing errors, the driver used to do the writing will automatically select the fastest possible writing speed. Some older CD writers and their drivers may cause problems and you may have to set the Write speed manually in this box. [Pg.272]

The CD tab is used to configure both the burning of ACID projects to CD-R and the extraction (ripping) of tracks from audio CDs to media files on your hard disk. [Pg.284]

Surprisingly, peptides 72 and 93-99 do not display CD spectra in MeOH characteristic of the expected (M)-3i4 helix but present a new pattern with an intense single peak near 205 nm (with a mean-residue ellipticity as high as 62,083 deg cm dmol for 97) and no zero crossing (Tab. 2.5). [Pg.65]

Note-. The solid fraction of DCP tableting indices compacts was less than 0.85, particularly for the Emcompress , CD Anhydrous and A-TAB grades . Abbreviation-. DCP, dicalcium phosphate. [Pg.139]

The compaction data for DCP, at least Emcompress and A-TAB, was very comparable to that of MCC, lactose, and mannitol. Estimates of TS at 0.85 SF and the maximum were higher than that of mannitol, about the same as that of lactose and less than that of MCC. However, the estimated CS values were considerably greater than the three organic excipients. Meaningful data were not obtained for CD Anhydrous. See Table 6 and the following paragraph. [Pg.146]

The cross-correlation function of the concentrations of any compound, which are observable in a stream and which scatter like heavy metals, is a possible means of measuring transport rates in flowing systems. The maximum of the cross-correlation function indicates the time which is needed for transporting these compounds. For this purpose, the time series of heavy metal concentrations (Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, and Zn) at two sampling points in the river 4.5 km apart taken at exactly the same time were cross-correlated (Tab. 6-2) [EINAX et al., 1994],... [Pg.232]

The next tab is usually the Driver tab (Figure 13.31). This tab allows you to see the driver name for the device as well as the driver version, if available. You can see in the figure that no drivers have been loaded for this device, or the drivers specified for the device are not compatible. If you need to load a driver (or update a driver), click the Update Driver button. Windows 9x will present you with a list of drivers to select from or allow you to install your own from floppy disk or CD-ROM. If you have upgraded to Windows 98 from Windows 95, you may find that a number of updated Windows 98 drivers are available on vendor Web sites. [Pg.566]
