Caucasian race

Testimony was further taken upon the question of any radical differences existing between the Asiatic and Caucasian races, and in the evidence will be found much valuable information upon this point peculiarly interesting to the ethnologist. The deduction from the testimony taken by the committee on this point would seem to be that there is not sufficient brain capacity in the Chinese to furnish motive power for self-government. Upon the point of morals, there is no Aryan or European race which is not far superior to the Chinese as a class.49...

Not having been so expressed or particularized, the most reasonable inference would be that the word white, ethnologically speaking, was intended to be applied in its popular sense to denote at least the members of the white or Caucasian race of people. If there be ambiguity and doubt, it is better to resolve that doubt in favor of the Caucasian possessed of the highest qualities which go to make an excellent citizen, as the applicant appears to be. .. If the word white in its popular sense is of too broad a signification, as applied to persons deemed suitable to become citizens of the United States, the remedy is easily at hand by an amendment of the law.39... 

To date, one study has evaluated the role of TS polymorphisms in ALL treatment toxicity risk. Relling et al. evaluated the TS 28 bp promoter insertion as a risk factor for osteonecrosis. In this study, 64 of 297 patients who enrolled in SJCRH protocols Total XIIIB or XIV were included in the study. Twenty-five were found to have osteonecrosis on MRI and 39 did not have osteonecrosis on MRI. Children were screened according to clinical suspicion for osteonecrosis (Total XIIIB or XIV) or automatically for children age >10 years (Total XIV). Aside from age (OR 2A.2,p = 0.0001, 95% Cl, 4.8-122.1) and Caucasian race (OR 11.1, P = 0.037, 95% Cl, 1.2-105.6), children with the TS low activity 2R/2R wild-type polymorphism were at significantly increased risk (OR 7.2, p = 0.044 95% Cl, 1.05 8.9) for osteonecrosis of the hips (22). The authors note that osteonecrosis may have been over-represented in their sample due to the study design. 

The fixation of nitrogen is vital to the progress of civilized humanity, and unless we can class it among the certainties to come, the great Caucasian race will cease to be the foremost in the world, and will be squeezed out by the races to whom wheaten bread is not the staff of life. 

Some clinicians use induction therapy with IL2RAs or RATG for all transplant recipients. Others reserve induction therapy for patients who are at a higher risk for rejections, such as those who have a high PRA, had previous transplants or multiple pregnancies, or are of non-Caucasian race. 

Permissible dose limits are introduced for the so-called reference man (RM), an adult of Caucasian race specifically described for this purpose. For general population and nuclear plant personnel, the total annual equivalent dose should not exceed 1 and -50 mSv/y, respectively. 

Occurrence of EHL is not limited to the Caucasian race, and detailed descriptions of the syndrome in Negros have been given (Fulton 1952, Gaskins et al. 1953, Kuo and Bassett 1963, Kinsell and Schlierf 1965). 

Normally, the enzyme lactase reaches maximum activity soon after birth, and its activity remains high throughout infancy (the suckling period). But, by late childhood, it decreases to a very low level in all but the Caucasian race.
