Verbeke et al. s article [70] explores how information and communication technology (ICT) tools can be applied to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of health services in five sub-Saharan countries. Thirty hospitals participated in the study, through business process analysis and semistructured interviews. Tools were implemented in 19 health facilities. The deviation scenarios found in the previous step of the risk analysis must be assessed in terms of risk, which consists of assigning a level of severity and probability of occurrence to each scenario.
