Besides, so-called bulk metallic glasses often devitrify with a very high nucleation rate, yielding a dispersion of nanocrystals in the amorphous matrix at the first crystallization stage [100-102]. It means that precipitation develops in nanometric volumes, which can be realized in nanometric spherical regions (of radius R) around nucleation sites. One should expect a similar hysteresis behavior in bulk metallic glasses as a result of the depletion and size effects shown in the present paper.
